Knights of the Paw

Knights of the Paw is UCF's official student club for fans of anthropomorphic animals in art and media, also known as 'furries'.

Post-con depression? Want to make furry friends? Nerdy friends? Well - you have us! At Knights of the Paw (“KniP” for short), we aim to hold events that share the joy of the furry fandom and do lots of opportunities for hangouts on/outside of campus. Overall, we are a group that will make you feel welcomed and give you a chance to feel more included here at UCF! Our core values are community, creativity, and philanthropy:

🦊Community🦊

We strive to enrich the lives of our members by offering them a place to make friends through a common hobby and offering social activities and workshops. We host many events - from casual food meetups to full on fursuiting events! Our members have a wide range of interests and majors to connect beyond furry. Our group is also largely LGBTQ+ and so this is a very welcome, open, and safe environment for all people from all walks of life!

🐲Creativity🐲

One of the biggest subgroups in the furry fandom are artists! Costumers, crafters, writers, musicians, and more make our hobby what it is. We encourage students to pursue their creative interests and celebrate their unique selves with art jams and activities!

🐯Philanthropy🐯

Furries actively seek to do good not only for our members but for our local community and beyond! We in KniP focus on charitable work through volunteering and fundraising for organizations such as the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and more.
