National Association of Black Journalists
About
Mission Statement: To prepare, encourage, and educate minority students pursuing careers in the media.
The mission of the National Association of Black Journalists is to act as a peer group of like-minded students working towards their personal and professional goals. The National Association of Black Journalists strives to help students with learning skills associated with the journalism major and provide them with information about professional development opportunities.
The National Association of Black Journalists hopes to create a presence on campus for students who need to be surrounded by career-oriented individuals who are determined to have a job in the communication field post-graduation. In terms of our members, the organization wishes to give them as much information as possible before they join the workforce.
