About
The Election Commission serves to promote and facilitate Student Government elections. The Election Commission is comprised of the Supervisor of Elections, the Assistant Supervisor of Elections, and 8 other Election Commissioners. Together they successfully market, facilitate, and execute the Elections! They also ensure all candidates and campaigners abide by the Election Statutes and enjoy the election experience!
Potential candidates can find the Candidate Application Packets in the "Forms" section of the Election Commission Knight Connect page. Presidential petition sheets can be found in the "Documents" section of the Election Commission Knight Connect page. Please convert the Petition sheets to a .csv file upon submission.
2024 Election Timeline:
Write-In Application Process: Friday, February 16th at 5:00 pm - Wednesday, March 13th at 5:00 pm
Campaigning Allowed: Monday, February 12th, 2024 – Completion of voting
Candidates may campaign only after receiving verification from the Election Commission.
Presidential Ticket Debate: Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Cape Florida Ballroom
Candidate Expo: Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Cape Florida Ballroom
Election Voting: Monday, March 11th - Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at 5:00 pm
Run-Off Election (if necessary): Monday, March 25th - Wednesday, March 27th, 2024
