Description of Aphasia Family:
Aphasia Family is a free community group that provides language-rich activities, socialization, and community outings for stroke survivors with aphasia and related communication disorders. Aphasia Family is offered as one of the UCF Aphasia House programs, and the group was founded by people with aphasia, for people with aphasia.
The weekly Aphasia Family meetings, led by undergraduate and graduate students, foster intergenerational dialogue between members with communication disorders and UCF students.
