On June 8, 1978, the Iota Rho chapter began to leave an untouchable mark on the University of Central Florida’s campus. Even now, 46 years later, the distinguished men of this chapter continue to make strides in the community and on campus with such events as Dodge For Change, Sleep Out for The Homeless, and many others. The honorable men not only know how to help service the Orlando community but also know how to serve the UCF community through fun events and activities such as Walk-Like-A-Sigma, The Miss Phi Beta Sigma Pageant, Love Jones and many other events. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated itself has an undeniable legacy and has the honor of being associated with great men such as George Washington Carver, Reverend Al Sharpton, Huey P. Newton, Emmitt Smith, and the list goes on. Every day, the brothers of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated work diligently to make our collegiate and greater Orlando community stronger with our motto “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity.”
